”I’m Not Just Anybody, I’m A Whobody.”
Established in 1975, our name came from the book “Whobody There”, describing a Whobody as an unrepeatable miracle of God and we believe that completely!!
Our youth ministry is for students in the 6th through 12th grade. We meet for weekly programming which includes discipleship, prayer, small group discussion, and more. We seek to help prepare the hearts of our students for ministry and provide an example of Godly living.
We always have a place for you so come join us! If you want to chat with our ministry leaders, click on the button below and let us know what questions you have. Our Youth Director is Andy Comer, to contact him please email him at andy@mtpisgahgso.org
Andy, is a Greensboro native and while he is new to youth ministry he certainly isn’t new to the Whobodies. Andy was a Whobody himself, exposed to the Whobodies as a child, his parents were the first counselors and helped start the Whobodies. Andy went to Page High School and then received a degree in Business Administration at UNC Greensboro. More recently Andy began to serve as a volunteer in the Youth group. In September, Andy became Mount Pisgah’s Youth Director and is fast at work scheduling new events as well as keeping with the tradition of the Pumpkin Patch. When Andy is not at the church you can find him running his lawn care business, hanging out with his family, or taking in a game. Go Braves!
Wednesday October 2nd at 6:30 in the Sanctuary John Eklund will be speaking on the Effects of Technology on the Generations and we can protect ourselves.
Join us Saturday October 12th at 9am for the arrival of the Pumpkins. This will be our second delivery, and we will need all hands on deck.
