Next Steps
The Agape Class was established in the 1980s to grow in our personal faith and enjoy fellowship with other class members. Our commitment to missions includes those within our Church and the global community. We actively volunteer, sharing our time, talents and treasures with others. The class often studies books by Christian authors who use Scripture to teach biblical truths about the life God has for us. Those authors include Strobel, Ortberg, Graham, Lucado, and Tripp, among others. We meet in Room 212 at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday morning.

The Gathering Sunday School Class would like for you to be a part of our “lively group” of Christian friends. We meet each Sunday in the Parlor, Room 100 (across from the bathrooms just outside the Welcome Center), from 9:30-10:30 a.m. We mainly use DVD Bible studies and class discussions. Our mission projects include purchasing blankets and donating them, along with many other useful items, to the Greensboro Police Department and the Guilford County Sheriff’s Department for the homeless, and cooking and serving dinner to the homeless at Urban Ministry six times a year.

Holy Rollers Sunday School class meets from 9:30-10:30 a.m. We are discussion-based and study the Bible using video topical studies and books of the Bible. We are a mix of young and old, singles and married, with high schoolers and empty nesters. We would love for you to give us a try.

The Page Bible Class is the longest established adult Sunday School class at Mount Pisgah. We meet each Sunday morning from 9:45-10:40 a.m. on the first floor in Room 114. Our studies are always Biblical and range from books or DVD study series by Biblical scholars to in-depth studies of the scriptures. In addition, our class gets together every other month for a time of fellowship, fun, food and laughter. We invite and welcome adults of all ages to join us. So whether you are 20 years old or 90 years young, please come and join us as we fellowship and study God’s Word together.

The Roundtable class meets in Room 215 Sundays, 9:45-10:30 a.m. We use scripture for our lessons and stand on God’s Word. Come, join us and expand your knowledge and gain wisdom along with us as we pray, fellowship, and grow in Christ.

The Seekers Class members and leader, Ruth Warwick, seek enlightenment and a deeper understanding of scripture through Bible research and discussion. Class members or the instructor suggest topics; the instructor provides initial research and facilitates discussions in which all members participate.

We are a group of women who desire to grow in our faith and deepen our relationship with our Lord. We do individual Bible study during the week, then come together on Thursday mornings to share and discuss what God has taught us. Our meetings are 9:30-11:30 a.m. each Thursday morning from September through early May. We pray for one another, enjoy wonderful fellowship, and benefit from the Holy Spirit speaking to us through one another. We also bring donations for the Out of the Garden Project to help our community combat hunger.
On Thursday mornings, a men’s combined prayer and Bible study meeting is held in the Parlor adjacent to the Welcome Center. This event starts at 8:30 a.m. with about a half hour to share prayer concerns and blessings. At approximately 9:05 a.m., the group meets for another half hour to discuss a specific Bible passage (usually the sermon basis for the following Sunday). This is an open discussion with participation from any of the men present.

We are a group that meets every Tuesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in the Conference Room. Our mission is to send cards to those facing illness, loss, or other challenges. We lift them individually & corporately & pray that these cards be a blessing or encouragement to the receiver.
