Ministries
From Nursery to 5th grade, there is a place for your child!! On Sunday Mornings, our Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary environments are not just places for your children to be, but places where they can learn about God’s great love for them. Our program is centered around Jesus at every turn, providing a nurturing experience designed for your precious young children to grow in their knowledge of the Lord.
”I’m Not Just Anybody, I’m A Whobody.” Established in 1975, our name came from the book “Whobody There”, describing a Whobody as an unrepeatable miracle of God and we believe that completely!! Our youth ministry is for students in the 6th through 12th grade. We meet for weekly programming which includes discipleship, prayer, small group discussion, and more. We seek to help prepare the hearts of our students for ministry and provide an example of Godly living.
Beyond high school and looking for a group? Single adult and looking for some like-minded Christians?
Young family looking for other young families with similar beliefs to hang out with? Or just looking to find a group of young adults that love the Lord and want to give back to our community and world?
Mount Pisgah Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ.
The men gather on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 pm for a great dinner served by the Methodist Women and there is an informative program. It is a great opportunity to gather and fellowship with other Christian men.
Mount Pisgah’s Mission is simple, Yet critical: to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We are enthusiastic about helping people experience the transforming love of Christ and become fully dedicated followers of Him. You will sense this passion in everything we do. In this brochure, you will find some of the ways our congregation reaches out into the community and around the world. We would love to have you join us to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ!
Discover a vibrant learning environment at Mt. Pisgah Sunday School, where biblical education brings people of all ages together. Through age-specific classes—kids, teens, and adults—you’ll dive into Scripture, explore its relevance in daily life, and connect with a welcoming community. Whether joining in-person or online, classes aim to strengthen faith, foster discussion, and support lifelong Christian growth.
Worship is at the heart of Christ’s church and His people, and has been the center of His body for generations! At Mount Pisgah Church, we lead our congregation through a wide variety of the ways worship has been experienced and expressed throughout recent history. Our church hosts 2 choirs, and hand-bells ensemble, a contemporary praise and worship team, and an expansive technology and production team! No matter what your gifts or experience, we would love to have you be apart of how Mount Pisgah sings praise to our King!
We seek to provide encouragement for those who have lost a spouse or significant other. We offer varied activities each month. Our activities include discipleship, prayer, fellowship, food, and of course, fun! We bond together to help one another through a tough time, whether that is a recent loss or not. We would love to have you join us! Check out the calendar for our upcoming events and email Gaye Clifton using the button below for any questions.
Our neighbors have lost so much and they are hurting in ways we can only imagine. At Mount Pisgah we believe God has called us to be the hands and feet of Christ. Jesus healed the sick and fed those who were hungry, and he has called us to live like him. Join us as we take water, cleaning supplies, formula and so much more to those in Western North Carolina in hopes of bringing a small portion of relief. Bring donations to Mount Pisgah Church or if you would like simply give a donation below. All donations will go directly to the victims.
