Our Pastor’s Vision
We are living in a Mental Illness crisis. With life falling apart, people have turned to substances to dull the pain. The result is that in 2024, over 83,000 Americans died from drug overdoses. The church cannot remain silent and sit back, watching from the sidelines. The church must be more than a referral agency; it must provide hope and restoration to our broken community. Our purpose is “to help people stay alive so that they can live.” Yes, the church cares!
Mount Pisgah has been on the corner of Pisgah Church and Battleground for decades. Thousands of people pass by the church every day. We are known as the “Pumpkin Church,” having started this ministry in 1990. Our desire is to be known as a church that can offer hope to the hopeless. Our addictions have wrecked our careers, families, and separated us from the Lord, but there is hope. Addictions keep you hostage, Mount Pisgah wants to see you find deliverance. We invite you to join us every Thursday evening for supper, a powerful service, and to be part of our community. The whole family is invited. There will be care for infants and classes for children and teens, to help with the impact of your addiction.
