Ernestine L. Penry Scholarship

The Ernestine L. Penry (ELP) Scholarship Foundation was created in 1980 in honor of Ernestine, the wife of the Rev. Herbert T. Penry, Jr.

Ernestine provided the essential inspiration and leadership for their family of five children while Rev. Penry completed his baccalaureate degree at High Point College and went on to seminary at Duke University. Because of their deep, personal commitment to higher education and their desire to help others who have a calling to the ministry of Jesus Christ, the Penry family established this foundation to support the next generation of faith leaders.

Deadline is April 1st

The Penry family created the ELP Scholarship because of their commitment to higher education and to helping others who have a calling to the ministry of Jesus Christ.
